Radiesse® is a filler with a triple effect: wrinkle correction, gentle lifting and long-term skin tightening. The calcium hydroxylapatite is also found in a similar form in the human body and stimulates collagen to form again. Radiesse® is particularly suitable for combination therapies with laser, botulinum toxin, hyaluronic acid and the thread lift. For a particularly long-lasting effect, the treatment can be repeated. After 1.5 years, the filler is completely broken down in the body. The body’s own collagen stimulated by Radiesse lasts much longer than the filler itself. This means that Radiesse can be used to achieve a long-lasting effect.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A RADIESSE® TREATMENT.
During the minimally invasive treatment of the back of the hands with the Radiesse® filler, the hands are visibly rejuvenated. This can be achieved in just one session, in which the filler, based on calcium hydroxylappatite particles, is injected into the backs of the hands. The filler is injected with a very fine cannula – blunt needles – under the skin on the back of the hand, which has lost volume due to the ageing process.
Result: Immediately after the treatment, the skin on the back of the hand appears firmer, plumper and more elastic. The good modelling properties of Radiesse® ensure harmoniously soft transitions, and the rejuvenating effect is immediately visible after the injection.
THE PROCEDURE AND AFTERCARE.
Radiesse® treatment takes place in our surgery. Side effects of the filler treatment may include slight swelling and redness, which may last up to 2-3 days after the treatment.
