In the course of the advancing ageing process, our bone substance is lost in depth, superficial and also deep-lying fat pads lose volume. The result: the eyebrow begins to slide down. At the same time, the upper eyelids sag. The soft skin and underlying soft muscle as well as fatty tissue lead to the image of “tired eyes”. Many patients also suffer from a limited field of vision because the sagging eyelids press down strongly. A tightening of the upper eyelids can help here.
