Mole removal
Moles, so-called skin tumors, can be benign or malignant. Therefore, regular medical check-ups with a dermatologist are absolutely necessary. But even without a diagnosis to have them better removed, they can be perceived as disturbing and not aesthetically beautiful.

The removal takes place in our office in a treatment room. After a detailed analysis, the area of the birthmark is disinfected and anesthetized with local anesthesia. You lie relaxed on a treatment couch. The birthmark is then punched and removed. The wound is then stitched and bandaged with a few stitches, and the patches should not be removed until the stitches are removed.
The birthmark is sent to a laboratory and examined to rule out malignancy. You will receive the findings from us afterwards.
AFTERCARE
After about seven days, the sutures are removed and the histological findings are discussed. During this time, the wound should not come into contact with water. We recommend avoiding sauna and solarium. After the sutures are removed, the scar should be massaged regularly and a scar gel or wound ointment should be applied. You will get the prescription from us. The scar must always be protected with a high sun protection factor, even weeks and months later, to prevent skin discoloration.
COSTS
The cost of a birthmark removal starts at €450.- including aftercare. In case of conspicuous moles, the service is partially covered by health insurance and the invoice can be submitted afterwards.
