WHAT MAKES PROFHILO® SO SPECIAL?

In a new, unique manufacturing process, two different types of hyaluronic acid are combined and the best properties are extracted from both products. The hyaluronic acid molecule consists of high and low molecular weight hyaluronic acid. Under the influence of heat, this high-molecular and low-molecular hyaluronic acid now combines to form a hybrid molecule. The result is a highly pure hyaluronic acid (64 mg hyaluronic acid per 2 ml product) that remains in the tissue 30 times longer than uncrosslinked hyaluronic acid.

WHAT RESULT IS ACHIEVED?

The aforementioned unique combination of two different hyaluronic acid molecules supports the body’s own hyaluronic acid production. At the same time, elastin and collagen formation is stimulated. In addition, the strong water-attracting effect of highly pure hyaluronic acid optimally floods your skin with moisture from the inside. Because PROFHILO® remains in the tissue 30 times longer than non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid, it can optimally develop its hydrating and stimulating effect. All these properties result in smoother and firmer skin that looks fresh, revitalized and well rested.

HOW DOES THE APPLICATION ON THE FACE WORK?

PROFHILO® is injected at five defined injection points per half of the face using very fine needles. Due to the special nature of PROFHILO®, as well as the injection technique specially developed for this product (BAP technique), the hyaluronic acid distributes itself in the tissue and your entire face is flooded with moisture.

WHAT OTHER AREAS OF APPLICATION ARE THERE?

PROFHILO® can also be applied to the neck area and the back of the hands. Here, several small depots are also placed to provide the skin with more moisture from the inside. Other treatment options on the hand and décolletés is a combination of Radiesse – a collagen booster and Ultherapy – a highly focused ultrasound.

WHAT IS THE RECOMMENDED TREATMENT CYCLE?

One treatment consisting of two applications 4-6 weeks apart. After 6 months, a booster treatment is advised. After that, a treatment cycle of 4-6 months is recommended. Immediately after the treatment you can return to your usual daily routine without any problems. Theoretically, small bruises may appear at the puncture sites, but they can usually be covered well.

HOW SAFE IS THE APPLICATION?

PROFHILO® is of particularly high purity and no additives are used. Therefore it stands for best tolerability and the risk of side effects is minimized. The product can be combined with all common fillers, PRP, laser and botulinum treatments.
