WHAT HAPPENS BEFORE THE OPERATION.

In a personal detailed consultation, we will check with you whether you are suitable for VASER® lipo and then create an individual treatment concept. The latest innovation in VASER® technology is VASER® High Definition Liposuction. With this technique, the primary goal is not pure liposuction, but body contouring. This is to achieve a harmonious shaping of the body and a natural appearance. Before the procedure, the affected areas are marked and defined together with the patient. During VASER® liposuction, the fatty tissue is gently detached from the surrounding area by ultrasound energy. The special feature of this technique is that despite the reduction of the fat cells, the connective tissue is spared and skin shrinkage is also produced.

The areas of application are on the entire body, especially on the upper arms, legs, abdomen, hips and back. Combination treatments are recommended depending on the degree of cellulite.

The application of VASER®-SMOOTH also achieves optimal results in the treatment of cellulite. Approximately 80% of all women worldwide are affected by cellulite in the course of their lives. The reasons for this are predisposition, lack of exercise or an unhealthy diet. Once cellulite is present, it is almost impossible to get rid of it. Even superficial treatments usually show only minor and short-lasting results.

With the VASER®-Smooth technique, cellulite can now be treated effectively. By cutting the strands of connective tissue, the structural part of cellulite is treated. The fatty tissue can be redistributed in the same procedure and then suctioned out in small amounts. The skin is thus smoothed and the annoying dimples recede. There are also new findings for structural cellulite, which can be treated optimally and permanently with the modern CELLFINA® procedure.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE OPERATION.

The procedure takes place in deep twilight sleep or under a light general anesthesia and lasts between 1 and 4 hours, depending on the area and the effort involved. After a few days, you can return to your daily activities. Final results can be expected after several months, depending on the procedure, as skin re-tightening simply takes time.

THE PROCEDURE AND AFTERCARE.

The liposuction procedure takes place in Vienna in a day clinic and under general anesthesia. My claim: precision and safety during the operation. I have over 13 years of experience in bodyforming and have performed hundreds of liposuction surgeries. The well-rehearsed surgical team is complemented by experienced anesthesiologists who will safely take care of you during the entire procedure. Overnight stay in the clinic is rarely necessary nowadays for medical reasons. Our patients are happy to stay overnight if the journey is long or if you simply want a night’s rest from everyday life. You should take it easy for at least 3-7 days. You will be fit for social life after 7 days, and for work – depending on your profession – after 1-2 weeks. However, you should refrain from sports activities and rest for the first 3-4 weeks. For the best result, a compression garment is fitted after the operation, which should be worn for 6-8 weeks.

Proper scar care is very important and provides an improved, beautiful skin appearance. If you are prone to increased scarring, we can treat it with laser and/or medical needling (cost € 90,- per session).
