THE TREATMENT

The high-quality Dermapen® is fitted with micro-needles that can penetrate 1 to 3mm deep, depending on the area of application. The tiny needle pricks of Dermapens® activate the self-healing process of the tissue and the skin undergoes a rejuvenation process.

Treatment with the Dermapen® causes microscopic injuries in the deep regenerative layer of the skin, as well as slight micro-bleeding. The body then initiates the self-healing process and renews the dead cells.

As with any natural healing mechanism, this releases proteins for regeneration, stimulating the formation of the body’s own connective tissue and collagen fibres for a more youthful appearance.

THE PROCESS

Unlike traditional needling treatments, there is no need to apply a local anaesthetic as the needle pricks so quickly that you hardly feel any pain. First, a medical cleansing is carried out to prepare the skin optimally for the treatment. Now the Dermapen® is gently guided over the skin. This is followed by aesthetic mesotherapy. This is a gentle and effective method of restoring the natural beauty of the face, neck and décolleté. Individual ampoules of active ingredients (hyaluronic acid, vitamins, minerals, amino acids) tailored to the personal skin condition are injected into the middle (meso) layer of the skin. They moisturise and stimulate the formation of new collagen and cell renewal. The results of medical needling are optimised and the healing process is supported. Finally, the skin is pampered with a soothing, moisturising mask. The duration of each treatment is 45 minutes. Apart from a temporary reddening, which usually subsides after a few hours, there is no downtime.

THE RESULT

Although the skin appears plumper, rosier and fresher immediately after the treatment, the final treatment result is visible after 6 to 8 weeks.

Natural skin rejuvenation: We recommend repeating three treatments at 4-week intervals. A refresher treatment can take place 1 to 2x per year, depending on your goals.

Acne scars: We recommend 4-6 treatments at 6-8 week intervals.

Pigmentation disorders: Our recommendation is 4-6 treatments at 2-4 week intervals. Treatment is not possible in the case of acute herpes.
